Mendry Sponsor Acknowledgment (Education-First, Brand-Neutral): At Mendry, education comes first, promotion second. We are committed to delivering information that actually benefits veterans, families, and caregivers without brand discrimination. We know that the process of each veteran is individual, and our mission is to meet them where they are, provide them with practical tips and available resources that could be used in their daily life. We promise to be clear, transparent, and respect the dignity of individuals we serve with the purpose of ensuring our support will never be based on commercial influence but on education. The difficulties that veterans encounter in finding their way through healthcare and coping with their post-service life are many, and the strategy proposed by Mendry is focused on practical education that enables them to make valuable decisions and stay involved in their families and support networks.
What Mendry Does
Mendry’s initiative, Mendry Live, is more than just a podcast. It is an interactive site on which veterans, families, and clinicians give authentic stories, practical tips, and plain language resources. These discussions enable participants to learn practical tips and advice and find support and encouragement in their peers and professionals who relate to their struggles. In addition to holding conversations, Mendry plans dignity-forward supports, which directly assist veterans, active-duty families, and caregivers, making Mendry a reliable and familiar name in the circle of veteran support. Mendry establishes the connections between veterans and resources by integrating education, peer support, and available tools. Besides that, Mendry is also an active supporter of the veterans to ask questions, study new skills, and apply evidence-based practices in a manner that makes them feel safe and supported. This will be a holistic approach to the provision of education and also to the retention and effective application of the same by the veterans and their families.
Current initiatives include:
- Grant-making 501(c)(3): Mendry funds trusted community nonprofits that serve veterans. Grants support programs addressing housing, education, mental health, and family stability. These grants are carefully selected to maximize impact and ensure support reaches those most in need. Each grant-funded organization undergoes a rigorous vetting process, ensuring resources are used responsibly and for the benefit of veterans and their families.
- Veteran peer meet-ups & skill sessions: Stigma-free spaces where veterans can connect, share experiences, and build skills in a supportive environment. These sessions cover topics such as stress management, functional movement, mindfulness practices, and navigating VA and Community Care systems. Peer-led discussions allow veterans to feel understood and validated while learning practical strategies to improve daily life.
- Veteran-friendly health education: Neutral, evidence-based sessions covering osteopathic care basics, mindfulness techniques, and practical guidance for navigating VA versus VA Community Care. This ensures veterans and their families receive clear, understandable, and actionable information. By using plain language, veterans of all literacy levels and backgrounds can access the education they need without feeling overwhelmed.
- Community nonprofit partnerships for financial relief: Mendry partners with vetted nonprofits offering emergency or stabilization financial grants. These grants are administered by partner organizations, ensuring impartial eligibility decisions, transparent application reviews, and accountable award disbursement. Mendry’s role is educational and facilitative, not decision-making. This separation maintains ethical standards while ensuring veterans can access financial resources quickly when unexpected challenges arise.
- Financial-assistance notice: Support availability varies. Mendry does not provide direct financial assistance nor influence award decisions. Veterans are encouraged to reach out to partner nonprofits directly for financial support eligibility and application details. Clear communication ensures veterans understand the scope and limits of Mendry’s involvement, helping manage expectations effectively.
